All MPBA rules are applied to running Steam boats at Victoria and a valid Steam Certificate must be shown.

The VMSC Steam Boiler Test day is usually held in March a couple of week before Easter depending when Easter is. The regatta list will contain the correct date each year. All boilers/vessels are tested every two years.

Steam boats can be run at all regattas but the “The Steam Regatta” is always held on the First Sunday of July.
